Methylene chloride-based vapour degreasing solvent for industrial metal cleaning
EnSolv® MC is a highly stabilised solvent cleaner, designed for use in vapour degreasing applications, ideal for use in industrial metal cleaning processes. It builds on EnviroTech Europe’s many years of experience supplying the EnSolv® range of powerful and reliable metal cleaners.
EnSolv® MC is based on methylene chloride (dichloromethane) with the addition of alcohol and a unique stabiliser. An energy efficient alternative to higher-boiling solvents, it has very high solvency power, making it ideal for removing greases, mineral oils, rust inhibitors, lubricating oils and particulate matter, including from temperature-sensitive components and those cleaned with synthetic metalworking fluids. It is also compatible with a large variety of metals.
The additional alcohol acts as a polar solvent, aiding the removal of any ionic contamination or polar residues. It also benefits from a unique stabiliser package that protects the solvent from acid breakdown, in turn protecting the cleaning equipment and components being processed from rust and damage.
EnSolv® MC removes cutting oils, lubricants, lapping compounds, grinding pastes and fluids, delivering the highest standards of metal cleaning. It is perfect for cleaning metal parts and components with highly polished surfaces, including stainless steel.
