SuperCORR A lubricant spray with anti- corrosion properties meets the Mil-L- 87177A specification for aircraft maintenance for USAF.
The effects of using SuperCORR A, a corrosion-inhibitive lubricant spray, which meets the requirements of Mil-L-87177A, are reported in detail in this paper by Scott Dotson in a USAF study for aircraft reliability and maintenance. SuperCORR A can be safely used with all metals and plastics and other materials of construction. The dry film is self-healing and can be used for electrical and mechanical maintenance to improve reliability and reduce failures in use due to corrosion.
